The prize-winners of the RAN call for proposals have been chosen in June, by a RAN jury composed of Arts and Science experts, including body<data<space creative director, Ghislaine Boddington. The presentations and the jury selection took place in the framework of the MADE in RAN meeting days.
The winning projects are:
– TROPIC – Etienne Rey ( FR) / Installation immersive. This project will benefit from a specific accompaniment consisting of a follow-up by professionals’ committee and documentation (paper and video) on its process.
– OUTREACH: Crystallising Movements – Alex Haw (Atmos) and Mauritius Seeger (Dr Mo)( UK) / interactive Installation(see picture)
– C2M1 (it is tomorrow / of tomorrow it) – Siegfried Canto and Magali Desbazeille ( FR) / documentary performative pièce
Besides, the jury chose to award a “quotation” to the project S.U.N. – SEON (ZEN) UNIVERSEL NUMERIQUE, of the cie cie Corée’graphie, Young Ho Nam as example of collaboration art / science and between the members of the RAN. Learn more: http://www.ran-dan.net
