QuestLab Network is a three-year artist development initiative, funded by Arts Council England’s Ambition for Excellence to create a new network of dance artists, developers, technologists and commercial organisations, leading to the development and delivery of performance and engagement projects around the country.
Ghislaine (body>data>space) is Lead Contributor and Mentor on this special project at Studio Wayne McGregor. She is inputing process methodologies, dance and digital technology expertise and individual mentoring for the 10 selected UK choreographers taking part in this two weeks of professional development in dance and creative tech integrations.
The first QuestLab Network artists for 2018-19 are: Tony Adigun, Katie Dale-Everett, Rebecca Evans, Nathan Geering, Tom Hobden, Laura Kriefman, James Middleton, Zach Walker and Kerryn Wise.
Following an open call out these ten dance artists were selected to be part of the programme because they were all open to new ways of thinking, and passionate about technology’s potential to augment artistic creativity and engagement within the arts.
Led by Jasmine Wilson, the Director of Learning and Engagement at Studio Wayne McGregor. Digital Partnership Adviser – Emma McFarland.
