An output of Ghislaine Boddington Artist Research Associateship with ResCen (Middlesex University) this DVD showing the skintouchfeel project in all its iterations from process through to product and examining the body within digital immersion.
skintouchfeel is a project involving the creation of audio and video materials with an interauthored group of 30 + artists. The content created has been used in multiply diverse ways, distributed through performances, installations, vj shows and exhibitions across 2004 and onwards.
The material created for skintouchfeel researches the concept of virtual touch, and of skin on skin. Live and virtual bodies merge into each other exploring the beauty and diversity of skin and its inherent senses. Unity and human connectivity is another theme of skintouchfeel reflected through the many different visuals.
