‘Minority Report vs. Star Trek, what will our interactive technology future look like ?’
Ghislaine Boddington answered questions from Latvian Technology journalist Adriana Roze (VISSnotiek, Latvian TV) on what our virtual/physical future will look like, as part of the Creativity Week Latvia last April.
Get inspired by Ghislaine’s talk on behaviours and ethics needed for young people who will be working with new representational forms of themselves and others in their future careers, and on the future world of work, live and play!
In this increasingly fluid future young people will need to be more self reliant, entrepreneurial and dynamic particularly in their working lives. They will have to deal with the new challenges and potential issues which might emerge out of their collaborations between robots, avatars, virtual worlds, telepresence and real-time presence. How do these developments impact upon the ways young people behave? What are the ethical considerations to think about if you are working with virtual/physical blended space?
