On Wednesday 21 March Convergence presents a conversation between Ghislaine Boddington and composer-artist-inventor Imogen Heap. They will discuss the transformative possibilities of blockchain technology in the music business and beyond with a focus on Mycelia platform for creatives.

Ghislaine is a speaker and part of a think tank on alternative futures, as the Convergence Sessions return again with two themed days exploring how  the rapid evolution of AI has shaped the world we live in

On Friday 23 March Ghislaine will present her work on “Future Love – The Internet of Bodies”.

Key themes for the day are:

What does AI mean for human expression and creativity?

How has digital culture influenced the creation and experience of music?

The day features Dr. Nelly Ben Hayoun with students from the University of the Underground, US artist and programmer Lauren McCarthy, experimental label Nonclassical, musicologist Adam Harper and Barbican’s Sidd Khajuria. In the evening there’s a showcase from Iranian multi-instrumentalist composer, record producer, film director and futurist Ash Koosha, with London electronic duos: Wyles & Simpson and Girlhood.
