Post Me_ New ID - THE POST HUMAN CONDITION OF MODERN EUROPEANS

body>data>space have been awarded with Eira (Lisbon, Portugal) & CIANT (Prague, Czech Republic) a European Commission Culture Programme 2007-2013 award.
Post Me_New ID will examine the complexity of 21st century European human identity with an exploration of the evolution of cyborg culture through technologies of the body. The outputs include the creation of a Performance,  a Forum to be held in Lisbon next autumn, a book and DVD. Of a total of 77 successful 1-2 year projects from the February 2007 round, 8 are led by UK partners, and body>data>space was one of those.

Passion No Patience - "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE FIRST MOVE GRACEFULLY"
A presentation that illustrates the workflow process in the latest creations developed by London based choreographer Sioned Huws and artist/developer Massimiliano Simbula. They will discuss and demo two innovative performances based on motion capture extracts and unpremeditated movement, where the dancers continually lose and find themselves over again within an interactive environment.

Space is limited to 40 people per night and places are reserved on a first come first served basis.

New media performances, networks of interactive environments and installations explore this years theme is telepresence. For the festival publication TELE-PLATEAU - Die Welt als Environment Ghislaine Boddington has written an article about the experience of "being in " telematics, what does it 'feel' like to perform in Telepresence. Book to be published in November by TMA Hellerau. Ghislaine will also be a judge for CYNETart_08.

MutaMorphosis: Challenging Arts and Sciences

Ghislaine and Armand will moderate and present the panel "Smart Materials in Architecture and Design " at the Mutamorphosis Festival. The festival is organised for specialists in the fields of art, science, philosophy and sociology and will feature performances, exhibitions and panels from artists such as Stelarc, Louis Bec, Bill Seaman, Roger F Malina and Roy Ascott amongst others.
